Hey guys, if you've noticed that I haven't been as active the last few weeks, you're not going crazy.
Alissa and I have been very happy with our current house which we have lived in for about 4 years. It's time for us to move on up to a house with a paved driveway, a basement and a one or two car garage.
I have some photo's of the work along the way, I'll get them up asap, I need to post them on my family blog as well.

Here is a short rundown of the work we've done.
Last summer we tore down an old shed that was about to fall down. The one we added is bigger and as a matter of fact, I know I've posted pics of it on my blog. sheley.org
Our house has 3 bedrooms and 2 family rooms. One of the bedrooms needed a new ceiling, it had a drop down in place, but the ceiling above that needed replaced.. That wasn't a fun job at all, but we got it all replaced and the new drop down in place. We also added a new brighter light in that room.
We are currently working on the walls in our bedroom, our bed is in the living room..lol I should have the walls done in their by next weekend I hope.
The other bedroom is what we have our office setup in. It has my computer and Alissa's art stuff. we are going to be painting the walls in that room as well, as soon as I have the current bedroom painted and finished up.
The biggest project has been the front living room. The whole has had old dark paneling all over the place and we have slowly been replacing it or painting it white. Anyways, the front room had walls that where so bad that we had to tear them all the way down and put new Sheetrock up. We also had some ceiling work to do in the front room as well.
Lets see... what else.. Oh, I have started cleaning the yard up, tossed some new grass seed down and we have a few bushes and plants around the house that will need cleaned up and watered.
Last summer before we put the shed in, we had also done some work to the kitchen. We put new counter tops in, new sink and a dishwasher, Oh, and a light..lol

And finally, we also redid the bathroom. Finished off the walls, painted everything white and a shade of green.. It looks sharp, I also put new silver nickel fixtures everywhere in the bathroom.

We had set aside about 2 grand to work on the house, I think we are about to double that..

We've seen several houses in our area and similar size and details as our house so that's awesome!
