If you have a small forum and you're having trouble with Google Indexing your content, here's a method that really will help you out, plus may get you some quality traffic. Digg.com is one of the largest social bookmarking sites in the world and is a great source of fresh new content, which undoubtedly Google loves, therefore it is always being crawled. If you write an extremely informative and descriptive thread, submit it to Digg.com. Google will suddenly be on your tail, within 1 day, your thread will be indexed and Google will have probably crawled most of your site. Not to mention, if its really good, then people from Digg might visit your site for more content. So get Digging!

    I haven't used digg much, I've used several others but not digg so much. I'd say it's because vbulletinsetup got banned long ago, and I've never had a need to promote other sites on digg. I did digg a few of my post on my new affiliate blog.

    Hello,

    Digg is good for technical forums, but not so good for other topics. I've found that using other sites such as Stumble or Yahoo Answers generate more relevant traffic and visitors that are likely to register. Digging forums that are not technical might get you a few visitors but they rarely register.
