I have been thanked several times in my years of driving a truck. Let's see if I can remember a few of them.
I was involved in a huge accident on I-77 southbound back in 2004 just south of Wytheville,VA. I came upon the "New River Bridge" and the traffic was stopped because of a accident on the bridge. Yesterday morning, a little after 5 am, I awoke with a start. Seeing as how it was Saturday, I've no clue why I was awake, but I was. I dinked around on the computer, found that lil problem I blogged about yesterday, was chatting with my co admin, and was just about to go grub on some oatmeal when the phone rang. It was my mom. They live on the west coast so it was about 5 am their time as it was slightly after 8 am my time.

Last night was having some issues so I decided to run a virus scan, do some cleanup, and run a defrag. No problems at all, I went to sleep while the defrag ran.

This morning I got up, and by habit checked my board. Uhm.ITALICS. Everything' s italicized! I started to freak out. I thought I had been hacked...I was hyperventilating! I checked the messges to see if anyone had posted anything... my members didn't seem to notice at all, so it had to be just me. I checked another site and...

Starting to work on my checklist for needed hacks. If it takes more than 'import plugin and turn ON', I have not one clue, so that's a job for someone out there. I plan to keep it simple, nothing flashy. Sharp and bold is my aim. When talking about crime and legal mumbo jumbo, a cutesy theme is just aggravating. I have a very short list but most of what is out there is pretty superfluous. I can't see us needing a points structure, or forum games or... other weird stuff out there. I probably will...
