Problems w/ Mass Prune

Hey folks, I'm trying to do a mass user prune on my forum (we have over 10,000 registered bots from before we updated and closed various vulnerabilities), but for whatever reason it's not working. The AdminCP goes through the motions, says they are deleted, but the users still exist on the forum. Is there something I'm doing wrong or an alternative way to prune without having to do it manually?

Site isn't going to the right place

Well I recently installed VB 4 on my site
and when i go to my site: theprestigeclan.com

for some reason it ends up at this 'index of' page instead of going: theprestigeclan.com/forums

What have I done wrong or what do i need to do to fix this?

Hi all.

As we know, custom pages can be easily built using Logician's Web Templates. I wanted to create a "Link to us" page just like in vbsetup

vBulletin Setup

Can someone enlighten me what is being used in this page? Is that a custom vb.org hack?

vBAdvanced Links Directory has something similar, but I cannot recall if above page is using the same.

paypal "add to cart" button not working

Hi there, im one of the admins on a forum that is vbulletin.

Ive done a paypal button and posted it on the post that i want it on, so my members can buy things.

Ive allowed HTML and the button comes up fine.

When you click on the item to buy, it then opens up a seperate page to paypal and creates a basket. Which is how it should work.

For some reason, it only works for a short period of time and if i try it again, the forums says "Invalid Action Specified"

Any ideas as to why it only works for a short period of time, then stops ?

Problems editing the forum

Hello everyone!
I should say that I`m new to vb, I have just installed it and applied the Underground style.
I`m not very good at php and don`t have a lot of experience with forum management and such, so I have a few questions and hope you are going to help me. Thanks in advance!

1. The address of the forum is domain.com/forums but when you go there it is the content.php under the HOME button. The FORUM buttons is redirecting to /forums.php
So far so good. But I would like to remove the HOME button and when you enter domain.com/forums to send you right to the real forum.
1.1 If I know how to delete the HOME button I guess it`s the same for the rest - Blogs and What`s New?

2. When you are not registered or logged out there is a big jpg (called bigthing btw) as a header or something. How am I supposed to: 2.1. To change the text over it. 2.2. To make it visible even if you are registered and logged in?

Thank you for your time, I really find myself complete at sea when it comes to this stuff...

Some vbulletin forum layout problems

A few problems I'm having difficulties resolving.

Firstly on the portal/homepage....

... The "Latest Active Threads" box on the left (shown by the dotted green box) doesn't have a thin black outline on the outside of the box like all the other widgets do. I think this is causing other problems as news content in the middle displays white gaps at the base of each post (which you can see I've highlighted freehand in pink) and the title of each news item is taller than it should be (shown by the light-blue arrow).

Secondly a separate issue. Inside the forum...

... The "Last Post" column is jaggedy, as highlighted with the dotted vertical green lines. Also the "by" and "date" spills over into the next column, as shown circled in green.

Is anyone able offer any insight regards these issues, please? I've trawled through the AdminCP several times now but have as yet to yield any clues. I'm really scratching my head.

"Latest posts" working for some forum sections but not others

My site has a "latest posts" window shown on the portal homepage. However, one forum section/category doesn't add posts to it, where the rest of the forum sections do. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Help with changing forum permission

Sorry if this question is simple to solve, I just can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.

I am helping with our school system and need to limit access of Graduates usergroup. Initially they had student access but I would like to limit the access to non-student forums only, not the student forums.

This is what I did so far, but still the graduates can access the student forums:

1. went to UserCp -> Usergroups->Usergroup Manager-> Graduates usergroup (edit)-> permissions for all forums ( forum viewing, Forum Searching,Post / Thread Permissions) to "No"

2. Usergroups > Forum Permissions > Student Forums > Graduates usergroup (edit)-> set to "All No".

3. Forum Manager->Forum Permissions-> one Student Subforum-> Edit Graduate Usergroup and set to Custom permissions and "All No".

Please help.
