I'm not sure if this is a project you would be willing to take on. I am willing to pay and I will need this done for 2 forums...possibly 3. I can install it myself and can follow directions pretty good. Therefor, alot of hand holding is not necessary. I'm just not able to make time to learn to code myself or I would do it myself. And I am willing to pay someone else to do it.
I am looking for someone who can do the following with the old vbplaza (I still have copy):
- Fix all the security bugs in it. (at one time I tried to fix them myself from the tips on vb.org but have since taken it down since it's been mentioned that the fixes made public were not all the fixes needed)
- Take out extras I don't need. At this time you cannot currently delete items. You can only shut them off. I need someone who can take out unneeded features so it runs smoothly. I'm only wanting the bank, lottery, gifts, ribbons as far as items go. Therefor, I'd also like these items taken out of the files as well. No need to clutter them up with things not needed. I tried to take a look at the code myself to get rid of them. But since there is no known real fixes made public for the security issues, I've given up on trying to do this myself.
- The only place I will be adding the info to will be the postbit legacy template. Therefor, I will also need the proper coding for vb3.7 beta 5 profiles. I will need it to be placed in it's own tab - gifts and ribbons and management of them. However, I'd like to have the stats info in it's own box on the right.
Please do not tell me to look at vbcredits...I've been looking at them for months and I'm personally not willing to keep waiting any longer.
Please do not tell me to buy the encrypted vbplaza. I am done with encrypted scripts! I've had my share of those and many of them I can't even get support for anymore nor hire someone to fix them since they are encrypted!
And there is no guarantee that that new version is secure. As far as I'm aware of, no one from vb.org or vb.com has comfirmed whether or not it is indeed been secured. And besides, I've already donated to cmx several times for the first vbplaza he came out with. Money lost already and no guarantee he will stick around. If it were obvious the new version was secure and the files were not encrypted, I would have already purchased his new version.
I'm also aware of petz mentioned product that isn't made. And I'm aware of ishop. Just so you know, I'm aware of all of them.
Thanks and have a splendid day*
