| April-May 2009 BOTM Poll Here are the 5 Nominees for April-May BOTM.
Good luck to all, and it was really hard for us to narrow it down to just 5. PC-HelpForum University of Mom Diesel Bombers The Best Forum Ever IndiaTalks

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll I don't know if we're supposed to review the sites posted but I took a stab at it. From first glances:
India Talks - Has a real nice layout, nice color scheme and a great header image.
UofMom - Not quite my type of site but looks really informative and community oriented.
PC Help Forum - I cannot read it but I really like the flash notice showing people how to register/login
The Best Forum Ever - Also has a great layout although from the homepage, I cannot tell what the site is about..The best forum ever.....the best what forum? I'm going assume gaming based on one of the images I see on the page.
Diesel Bombers - Looks pretty cool, like the logo and forums makers, could probably benefit from making the guest notice an image map, unless the vBSEO 'trick' is being used so that SEs don't see all that text on every page. Probably could benefit from an actual front page instead of just a forum index (I'm no one to talk, my forum is the same way) but just a suggestion.
Not sure who I'm voting for yet, It's a close tie between India Talks an UofMom but the flash registration tutorial on the PC help site is really cool too. |

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll feel free to review
It was tough for us to narrow it down to these 5, I think we had 30 to choose from.
Some great forums all together |

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll I did not put mine in because I thought other languages would not be a succes, but now I see a Belgian board online, I sure will add mine the next time.

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll Wow, I'm having a real tough time with this one. All are good, but three are really solid looking at first glance. Hmm....tough call.
Diesel has put a ton of work in on his site and it's lookin' solid.
Best Forum Ever has a beautiful look to the site as well as a real clean layout.
India Talks has tons of great touches on the site and attention to detail to the max.
Sheesh...I think I'm going to have to keep thinkin' about this one. |

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll seriously, IndiaTalks does it for me. Deserves to win!
May I know why vbsetup has changed the way they used to decide winners. Polls is just not the right/fair way for this. For some, its really easy to gather votes. |

the staff narrows it down to 5 and you pick
only those in the vb group can vote
we think its pretty fair |

We wouldn't of revamped the voting and added more work for ourselves if it hadn't been addressed by the members. |

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll We can't win. Like 20 people complained when Brandon and I chose the winner without a vote.
Also, there really isn't a way for people to gain votes easily. Everyone who votes is a vBulletin Owner so it isn't like they can have their members come in and vote for them. |

| Re: April-May 2009 BOTM Poll Yeah i would say the system is pretty fair as it is right now. It stings to lose but that is part of entering contest....
chalk it up to experience and try again next time. |
