Do you like my idea? please read

I have implemented Twitter widget on the bottom of my forum to show the most useful topics from my forum randomly.

I have created a separate twitter account specially for WG, its @wg_tweets

I will be tweeting only valuable topics on that account and they will be appearing at the bottom of the forum. You can also treat it as Archives but it will show only valuable topics, not all topics.

I think it is a good way of using the "Footer" area because usually people don't go to footers but now if they go to footer they will find some good topics which may have buried but they can still be seen through the tweets

What do you think about my idea and implementation on the forum?

I kinda like the idea and the way you utilize the footer region with the banner next to the widget.

Also, I see you are using the facebook connect mod on your forum, just wanted to ask how well is it performing has it helped improve registrations and build activity in the forum?

Yes, I have got some members who joined the forum using their facebook IDs. I got new registrations when I was active on facebook but now I don't go there so not many registrations coming from facebook.
