How many stored PMs do you allow?

Left to my own devices I'm likely to let PMs lie around until my mailbox is overflowing, and I don't want to increase the limit because that will only make the problem worse for me. How much space for saved PMs do you allow your members? Do you give the admins more room then the regular members?

I seem to have an OCD with mine and delete it once I get it. Thats the same if I throw something in the Trash Can, I have to empty it (computer trash).

I allow like 50 for regular members.

idk, how many do I allow you guys?

I think I have 500 on the admins, maybe 200 for the members?
I let it fill up, then I'll delete all at once

Some messages I do manage to delete right away, some I keep because I'm afraid I'll need the information one day... and yet oddly enough, I only have one message in the Saved box.

Re: How many stored PMs do you allow?

I have 1000 for admins and different levels of PM storage based on the 'supporter' levels

So, registered members get 25 total. 1st level supporters get nearly double the space at 40, 2nd level supporters get 60 and 'Gold' supporters get 100.

I limit it because I would rather they discuss things on posts or they can chat in the flashchat room.

I'd better not increase the limit for admins or I'd never clean it out

wow, 12 is just too low. You'd never be able to, say, negotiate a sale properly with only enough room for 12 private messages.

I thought that 25 might be too low, but I haven't had anyone complain about it yet.
