Is Miserable Users for wusses?
I fortunately don't usually have behavioral problems on my forum, but occasionally we'll get an influx of trolls. I've used Miserable Users on occasion when a new member would start acting like a troll but still skirt the rules, and when I recently taught a new admin how to use it he opined that he thought it was too passive-aggressive, and he'd rather ban someone outright. I can see his point, but at the same time think sometimes it's better to use kid gloves then start a public confrontation. What do you think?
If two or more members are going back and fourth with each other wreaking havoc on the boards we'll put them in that user group until we decide if we're going to hand out infractions.
