Re: Need some suggestions

Blake, that little box is sorta annoying, but does the trick.

By the way, I have to say..things are lookin' nice at ArgueCrazy! Nice work my friend. I hadn't looked at it in about a month or so and it is lookin' clean. Good job!

Re: Need some suggestions

Blake, here are a couple of suggestions -

Change that navbar link to say something like - Register a FREE account

And get rid of some of the other navbar links you're displaying to guests, so that registration link will be even more prominent.

You hide the members list from guests, so why display a link to it? Same with the games, a guest cannot play the games. And since it's pretty difficult for a guest to break the site rules, ditch that link as well. Some sites really use the calendar more than others, but I suspect most guests never look at it.

Somewhere around here, there is a thread on cleaning up the navbar. It moves things like the FAQ, members list and calendar links to the Quick Links dropdown, so that gets them handled nicely. And you can wrap the others in a conditional to hide them from guests. Suddenly, there are not so many links on the navbar and your registration link starts standing out much more.

Food for thought...

It will be back up if they can figure it out....I parted ways with them...Sometimes you just have to cut bait and look for a new fishing hole
