I've been trying to think up a good rank structure for my science forum, but haven't been completely happy with any of my ideas yet. Stuff like "mad scientist" up through "Nobel prize winner" is a bad idea in my opinion, as newbies might confuse it with the user's status in life. Any suggestions?

Maybe you could do it with images instead of text? Good luck.

image ranks are usually reserved for usergroups but can be used for the promotions system too.

i like mad scientist thru nobel winner myself, i would hope a bunch of scientist would get it
