Spell Check

I'm looking for a good spell check mod. It appears vB Spell does not work with IE 7.0 so I don't want to go that route yet. Are there any other suggestions?

I use the google toolbar, but many of my users do not.

While most of my members do not care there are a few who do and I thought I'd try offering. Clicking the spell check in the Message box asks users to install iespell, I don't think many people want to install this. I'd like it just to appear automatically like in FF or Word.

Thanks,
Warren

Recent Blog: Sensei Madness!!!

What is wrong with the spell checker built into Firefox?

I have not tried it, but try out IE Spell for the Explorer users and let us know if that works for them.

Re: Spell Check

I like the FF spell checker and use it at home, but the vast majority of my members use IE.

I looked at ie spell but wanted something I could load onto my site because I doubt too many people will want to download something to their computer.

Tell your members to use firefox, it has a built in spell checker. And, its a lot more secure then internet explorer.

That's a rather irrational recommendation for the OP.

His job isn't to tell members what they need to use in order to be able to have full functionality on his site.
His duty is to provide his users with as much functionality as possible that is flexible, allowing the user to use their browser of choice.

Regardless if it's possible to implement a certain feature, it is extremely silly to "tell your members to change browsers". That's just dumb; and that's the simplest way to put it.

Its his site, he will run it as he sees fit. Just like I run my site.

Personally - I do not support aol or msn browsers. If a member send me a message saying that they can not do this or do that, and they are running something besides firefox, opera, or ie, I tell them to switch browsers because I do not support the one they are using.
