As title says, what are some threads that get most replies?

Posting games get a lot of replies.

So far the Word Association Game has gotten the most replies, with a thread containing a "pun-off" coming in second.

A 'How did you find bla bla bla' thread gets all the new members posting on it.

"What are you listening to right now?"

"I'd ban the person above me because..."

Letter of the alphabet games...choose a subject and members need to find a picture on that subject beginning with A then the next member does one for B, etc. etc. Possible categories...cars, celebrities, bands, capital cities, etc. Then go back from Z to A.

Yes those tend to get most posts but they are not content rich. Usually threads involving politics and history tend to get many posts.

Minus the forum games, threads that got most replies on my forum so far includes the meetup thread (we had a meetup in August), and a particular thread in our 'females only' forum. Perhaps you can guess the subject of that thread. :thong:

outside of the posting games, threads on politics, homosexuality, race and religion all get tons of posts. Everyone has an opinion on these topics and loves to share it.

They can also be the most painful on a forum.

Posting games are my top 4, followed by my geocaching thread which is more like a running geocaching blog in the form of a giant thread.

One of my members recently started a "what are you doing right now?" thread, meant to be like Twitter. It allows members to share what they're up to, which is a bit more content-rrich than most posting games and sometimes even starts a new conversation

I hadn't even thought of the "what is your pet peeve" thread but you're right, it was popular for a while. Right now everyone's on "what is your favorite movie" and "what is your favorite family game?"

Just saw this caption contest on TalkWhatever that would probably be popular on any site
