Are you the top poster on your forum?

On most of my forums I'm the one with the most posts as I'm still trying to get them off the ground, but fortunately on one some of the members are way ahead of me... one fellow has over double my amount

Do you find you're the one making most of the posts, or are the members more talkative than you?

i am but i use cyb's top stats and have it only displaying the top posting members and not included the staff members. 4-5 of the members are now fighting for top stop which is great to see. I was also thinking of introducing the "1000 posts club" or something along those lines. Thats as far as ive got with the idea lol

I am the top poster on my DE forum, probably 2nd or 3rd on my PA forum, and top i would think on my new site..

I'm the 2nd highest with my lead mod being the leader.

But, I think that the "1k posts club" or something specific like that with a 'badge' to display would be a nice thing as well.

I am second highest. My female admin is more with the chatty than me LOL. But I am close 2nd.

I'm the highest, but I want to get others to jump in. I just hate for it to seem like this is just for me and sometimes hesitate to respond to a post hoping another member will.

I have the same problem 2dub... you want to show them they'll get a prompt answer on your forum, but you don't want to always be the one giving it.

you know i am still top poster on TalkDE, but i installed vbexperience and the built in awards, you would think would be mine, but one of my other core members has like 3 out of 4!

somehow I managed to miss your post Arny. Very interesting re: the free gifts idea but what is it you give out as gifts? Are they physical things you mail or graphical gifts in their profile?

Only two members on my forum are members of the 3k club and that is me and my dear friend and super mod who was at that for even before me :lol:. We are always ten posts away from each other, so the top spot changes daily.

We also have a 2k and 1k club, just for the fun of it

I was the top poster on mine before the forum actually belonged to me. I guess that's why when they decided to shut the site down they decided to hand it over to me. I'd been doing a lot, if not most of the work on the vB side for quite some time. I think the old admins were just ready to move on to other things. So, top poster then. Top poster now. I guess I had nowhere to go but up.

i have a support forum for my stuff where i have like 50% of all posts... on all the other sites i own, i'm one of the worst poster...

i even kicked myself of a forum last month, where i was pruning the inactive users... among 750 members... you can see that i'm not very active poster... lol

Im not the top poster by a few, I am the incendiary devise, I taunt,tease,play devils advocate,poke,prod and shamelessly encourage lol, I start threads and see where they go, when Im out doing my job the post counts are huge, when not they are tiny, were just about a year old 57000 posts,3200 threads and 23 or 24 active users, I am just shy of 8000 posts, I consider this to be a bad thing that will pass as enough active users are ensnared in my web of madness
