Add forumjump to forum home

Well I been toying around with it. I know that it doesnt work on forumhome. but I was looking for a way to do this. All of the hacks I saw seem kinda odd. I was thinking you could just edit the index page and maybe add something to allow to call the template on forumhome...But it no workie for me...

I was thinking this should work...But nope
eval('$forumjump = "' . fetch_template('forumjump') . '";');

I came across something similar but very old

eval("\$forumjump = \"".gettemplate("forumjump")."\";");

They added his to older versions index and called it and it worked...But I can not seem to get it to work. Maybe I am missing something. Anyone got any ideas?

The purpose of the forumjump is to be able to jump to other forums in threads, your index is basically, already a forum jump...right??

I want to add it to the bottom of forum home. It would look nice there and give people a way to navigate site if go to the bottom

This is the one I use.
Navbar Forumjump- Adds a DHTML "Forum Jump" menu to your Navbar - vBulletin.org Forum

It is much better that the default vB and has a cleaner code..
