I downloaded forum ranks but I have no idea how to install them. The ranks say Administrator, moderator, and so on.

I'll give you a good "how to"

give me a min to set it up

actually, I'm not going to make screen shots.. it's pretty easy


upload the ranked you want to your
/forum/images/ranks/
folder

then go to acp > ranks > add new rank

you put in the path that you just a placed the rank.

Call it what you want..

then go to the usergroups and you can select the rank of a user.


you can also setup the ranks to change once a user has hit X post..

Yes it is very cool.
Serves as a nice addition to make a "member's reply" easier to make.

One more thing, how do I change the colors of the "online" and "offline" buttons on the forums?

Mine are default at the moment, but I would like to change them as well.

you can right click on the icon and see where they are located..
ours are at

/images/chromium/blue/statusicon/user_online.gif

then just replace with the ones you like
