webb has a spectacular aura about
Log-in and Log out problems.

Hi friends,
I have a problem. I installed a skin and for some time it has been okay. At least in the last 2 months. I have been too busy to promote the forum.

Now I am ready but I have noticed that when I log it, there is NO immediate indication that I have logged in.When I log out, I get the usual message that the cookies have cleared blah blah but if i try to go in, I find that the site shows that I am logged in.

All these trouble vanish if i refresh the browser every time I log in or log out.

When I contacted VBulletin support, they said I need to talk to the skin seller because it has something to do with revert Nav. The seller says he tested my site and found it ok.

Now I would like a third opinion from the community here. Would you all please kindly try to register. And if you experience any problem here, you let me know so that I can approach those concerned in a more knowledgeable way.

I am not trying to get membership. This is a genuine problem.

here is the site xxx.sufuri.net/forums/

Regards,
W

Re: Log-in and Log out problems.

Hi, W.
Try using the default vbulletin skin with your logon and see if you still have the same issue. Also, if you are using firefox, try with IE or Safari. If you are using IE or Safari, try with FireFox. These types of problems are common when either your web site cookie or a temp internet file is corrupt.

Re: Log-in and Log out problems.

Hi, I have tried the default, it is still not responding. Now I suspect my MSQL connections or permissions. Anybody with a clue.
I will appreciate if a member can try membership and tell me exactly what they experience. I have asked some people to do so but because they are not familiar with Vb they couldn't tell the difference.I need an experience user/professional view.
Cheers,
