Please critique my color

Any feedback on this color scheme would be appreciated, wise crack or otherwise.

Keep in mind, the name of the scheme is "harmony". It should be warm and pleasant to look at for long periods of time. I'm not going for the immediate bang of a vibrant color scheme.

I would to see more to give a good review to be hones.
Blue is always a save color, violet is nice and calm, but like I said, it depends on the complete picture.

Not crazy about he gray bar but hard to assess with that image.

Ok, well no one threw eggs at it anyway. lol.

It does seem a bit washed out. I'll bump up the saturation a bit to bring out the colors more to see what happens. Maybe get some contrast on the logo and some fading color changes into the background to see if that perks it up a bit (but not too much). I tend to error on the plain side.

I like it. But i think that purpleish bar is a little out of place.

Also, a simple/ solid background would make it look better, the white makes it a little too simple

But its nice.

Yeah purplish/violet one is what I meant to, but do like the blues..LOL no no egg throwing here..

Nah, the pic is too small to hit it with an egg.

But if possible, make a bigger pic the next time. It realy can make a difference if it is nice or not.

Ok guys, the purple/violet one is gone for good. I'm working on something much more conventional and pleasing to look at.

I was looking at the test IPB site that Brandon setup and it hit me. The one thing that usually troubles me with making a vBulletin site look good is getting away from the default look, without going skin crazy. The default table borders, gradients, icons and buttons, all combine to make a rough start.

So I was striving to come up with a clean and pleasant design and I think I have it. Now I just need to finish the header and logo, and the forum will be ready to open up.

Sorry no pics. Its nothing fancy, just a clean look. I'll show you guys in a couple of days. I'm going to be really tight for time, as family is in town and we will be hanging out on the strip.

Here is my link for those that would like to take a look. The design is rather straight forward. I'll be working on it to touch it up there and there, working on the header and body borders.

For now I just wanted to get it open and start getting some traffic. Probably not the best week, as I mentioned I'm very busy and out most days and nights this week.

I'll probably be talking to myself for awhile though until I get some content and visitors.

looks pretty good and clean goose, I like the simplicity of it and the simple logo fits.
