Transparent background on videos?

I offered to help a friend with his site, and now he wants to get fancy and have a transparent video of himself against the graphical background of the page. I told him I had never done that before, but that I would try. We figured out where he could get filmed against a green screen, but what else do we need to know before he gets the video made? And then, how do I embed it?

Be careful...that sounds like one of those situations where you could be told that you're there to film something and then get coerced with promises of acting work or other such lies and end up not being able to sit down for a week.

Not that I know of anything like that ever happening. :whipping:

Uh... I don't plan to be anywhere near the actual filming, as he's in another state. And I'm pretty sure he's just renting the use of the green screen from the local community access TV station, not getting involved in something shady. But I'll tell him to be on the lookout for that :wink:

Well if you ever get the video what type of video will it be? They have a lot of players you can add to your site out there for stuff like that. I think flashplayer is the best one because its fully customizable. But if want something out of the box. A lot of people like
