I am always looking for a nice buy and ofcourse vBulletin licenses especialy.
But sadly enough thanks to a big group of scammers it is difficult to determ if the seller is legit or not. I know about the rules vBulletin has about transfering but even that is not completely safe, but the best we have.

Now I see here in the marketplace new members offering licenses and maybe they are nice guys and can be trusted, but I do not know that so I do not buy from them.

Is it not better to set extra rules for that forum? First of all the sellers must be verified by vBsetup, but why not allow only those who sell transferable licenses and/or have a sertain postcount? I know, it always is difficult, but if there is a place where you can buy licenses without fear, this would be one of them, not?

Just my 2 cents (Although now not much worth, after the crisis it would be a Dollar!)

Extra precautions wouldn't hurt but as it goes if someone is gonna be a cheat or thief, short of banning not much a forum owner can do and that's what many don't seem to understand. But doesn't hurt to button things up for members to feel more "safe" about interacting in deals.

Something to note, it looks like a "vb owner" may of been involved in a scam of some sorts.
Blatant FU that I think should be made public!
So even if we did set a requirement for the marketplace, some bad deals could still go down.
