How do I get rid of the avatar?

There's this gif that shows even though I have show no avatar, signatures, etc selected.

I think I might even have a avatar loaded too, but in any event how do I get rid of this thing? Thanks.

I don't think you'll be able to as it could break the layout of the postbit template

or it could just take some fancy recoding using conditionals in a few spots

Your new avatars must be 80x80 px or less. The one you're using now of Luigi is fine

Re: How do I get rid of the avatar?

So I guess I do have an avatar loaded.

The gif I linked above shows up for everyone one. So even though I have avatars turned off, that picture of the guy with the headphones shows up for each member. So I guess my original question still is up in the air.

Re: How do I get rid of the avatar?

If you have no avatar, it automatically returns to the guy with the headphones.

If you look at the style, the avatars are a pretty important part of the design so if people just didn't have them, it'd look pretty weird.

Re: How do I get rid of the avatar?

I guess the option in the user control panel to turn off avatars is now debunked for the new style if it replaces every member's personalized avatars with they guy with the headphones....understandable, but weird. No big deal.

Thanks for the response.

The system is working fine IMO.
If you don't want to show an avatar, that is fine.. The default noavatar image will show no matter what

If you really wanted to get rid of the guy with the headphones but didn't want anything for yourself luigi, you could just upload a white 80x80 image, or a blue 80x80 image and it would look plain. That's up to you.

What Luigi means is that he has chosen in his User CP to hide all users' avatars (presumably to save time downloading), but the default avatar is not adhering to his choice

But even if thats the case, only one image would be downloaded and that would be used throughout the forum.
