Re: Looking for some feedback on this page

I think you are going to miss out on sales when you ask your forum members for help and then all you are really doing is sending them to an ad.

I could be wrong, but when you sucker people into reading an ad, I think you mislead your "buddies" on your mailing list.

It's not like you've committed monster fraud or anything. I just have to say that I was let down a little bit when I read your email and then saw what the link actually went to.

I'm not super active on this site (mainly because I'm decently pleased with vBulletin and am focusing on other facets of my site/forum), but I consider you to be a colleague...a peer. Of course, if you took the time to specialize in X and create X product, that makes me a prime time customer.

I think if you lose the peer / colleague relationship, you end up being more like an informercial or something. (Of course, infomercials do make kajillions of dollars)

Of course, what do I know? I'm just giving my constructive criticism. I've been fighting javascript all morning so I may just be in a bad mood.

I appreciate your input, I should of cleared that part up in the email or post.

I wasn't so much trying to drum up work from the members here. I really am just asking for your input in this page, as if you had never heard of this site or me or my work.

I know we have at least a dozen or 2 talented coders and programmers on the this site that do offer services along the same lines as what I'm offering. I know there is enough work to go around and I fully support anyone to post what they offer in the market forums.
In fact, I have some plans to help those users out more with front page exposure, but that's another thread all together..lol

So, with that being said, does it look inviting to a guest ?

Thanks again for everyone's time, I do know how valuable it can be.

Re: Looking for some feedback on this page

I am yet to try SEO on any of the forums I develop and whereas I value SEO I have not considered spending money on thet VBSEO that is available.

So, you could say I am not the one to ask about such value

and if need be I shall get round to SEO

thanks
