No more social bookmarking?

Umm.. is it just me or is VBS now minus all those social bookmarking links for each post? Maybe it moved under the new skin?? If it is gone, why?

Re: No more social bookmarking?

Ah! Phew... I was wonderin' if they suddenly became unnecessary or obsolete!!

I looked cuz I want to add social buttons onto PC101's posts too... just as you guys use to have them... at the bottom of the posts. Is that still a good place? Is that a hack/mod that can be added?

Social Bookmarking comes by default in vB 3.7

Cool! I like the bookmarks that were in a row at the bottom of a post (not in a drop down), how do go about adding that type to PC101's posts? Do I upgrade to 3.7??

You'll add those in the vbseocp.php at the end of the file, "social bookmarking"

I don't care for the icons in each post for a few reasons..
1. I don't want an additional 90 icons on each thread. That is if I have 9 bookmarks, x 10 post.
2. Generally speaking, if I'm going to bookmark something on a forum, I'll most likely bookmark the thread, not an individual reply.

True dat!

Hmm... Is there a way to add the bookmarks just the the first/original post and not each and every post of the thread?

I guess the reason I like the icons visible and not as a drop down is because I think it's most likely someone will (myself included) go ahead and bookmark the thread if they see the icons.
