| Re: Vbulletin setup slow Well, the site is loading fine for me and nothing seems to be slow though, I did noticed on my tab that one of your google ads has some sticking problem, which may cause it to be slower for people who have slow connections, I dont know. But for some reason the google add never loaded |

| Re: Vbulletin setup slow I have fast internet connection, and I did not say it was slow now. I said the ads went crazy again, like other users seem to experience too. Do you use random banners? I did not look which banners the prob gave because the page loads to quick each time and I end up on top of the page.

The only ads that members see right now is the 728x90 adsense ad under the first post.
Maybe I'm missing another banner, but do you see any others than the 728 one?
thx
*edit*
I've noticed some issues with the self hosted openX
I might go try their hosted version of openX.

I'm wondering if it's that "vboptimize" hack, it has some style cahching options.
Thanks for the feed back juster |

| Re: Vbulletin setup slow I think it is the 468 add, since I see that one changing, but to be honest, it goes so quick I cannot see the other one (it refresher before I even get there...)
Better becarefull, because Google has closed down accounts for the strangest things, I lost mine too and had a pretty good income with them.

| Re: Vbulletin setup slow Happy to see you had it too. And although FF is very much used, IE is still being used mostly.
But that does not make the problem go away, it is very strange. I do not know what mod you are using with this, but maybe try another one or not one at all and add the code manualy?

| Re: Vbulletin setup slow Miner is going to take a look at it, but he's had some personal issues come up, so we are waiting on him to take a look.
I've been thinking about adding the default vBulletin style and setting it as default.
I'll be able to fixed the customized style without disturbing all the members.

| Is there someting wonky with IE7 and vbulletinsetup? Hey, I noticed when I was on the site tonight using IE7 that the pages want to continually refresh. I visited in Firefox and this does not happen. Beyond ditching IE7, which I won't do, is there something I should be doing to make it stop misbehaving?

LB | Thanks, it's been reported.
I'm actually working on a new default style, that I'll switch on to override the others as soon as I get a few more hours to work on it.
You are welcome to use this style now if you wish, I still have a few bugs but it's pretty much finished, just a few tweaks that I want to add still. |
