What do you think of Political and Religious Categories

The reason why we don't have political or religious sections is because I've seen how dedicated people can get and how heated the discussions can get, and I don't want a ton of drama on the forums.
And... that I don't really follow national politics and as far as religious beliefs go, mine don't really go with the flow...

Do you have these sections on your forums? What's been your experience with that, and should we add some sections on vbsetup?

people get waaaaaaay to upset and start drama over these to subjects way to easy.

Me i'd welcome them because i really get a kick out of some of the stuff people say to other people while pretending to be a better religion.

Its quality entertainment, and it'd be a blast with my sick twisted remarks for everything!

I have a politics section on my forum and let me tell you things really do get heated. That must be the most popular part of my forum. I dont like it only because it takes people away from the rest of the forum but then again its an attraction.

If I wanted drama similar to that which these topics would create I'd just go post on a forum inhabited by tweens and teens.

Also, if you're not a pastafarian you're just plain wrong.

just about everytime theres been arguements on my forum its been down to religion of politics...ive considered banning discussing both of them. i have been thinking about opening up a forum viewable only by members that i can ditch all these threads in after they go tits up rather than deleting them....hall of shame so to speak.

If people come to your forum to post under those topics and then you get rid of those topics then you can most likely say goodbye to those members to.
