2 major problems with my forum

ok first one is that when I originally setup my forum I installed the forums in the main directory instead of a subfolder /forums

Is this a problem or is it ok to just leave it the way it is?

Second problem is my index.html is a java script re-route to cmps_index.php because I didnt know how to have my index.php propogate relevant info of what was going on.

Is this having a huge effect on my SEO and the main reason its hard to find the site in Google etc..?

I just remebered about the re-route today and added meta and keyword info.

Most of all how do I fix it?

Thanks,
Nick

Re: 2 major problems with my forum

hey, you have a nice site there and it seems to be quite active as well

I think if you are focusing only on forums having forum at domain root should not be an issue. but if you have just started and not too much indexed in google, I would suggest you to move forum to a forum folder. This is because if tomorrow you decide to expand your site beyond forum things will be lot easier.

I think moving forum to a separte folder will also resolve your vbadvanced issue as well. you can just rename vba_cmps.php to index php with path to your forums

you can rename the cms_index.php to index.php and rename your orginal index.php to forums.php ;)
