Adding custom sidebar to vBa module on homepage.

Ok i have this client and she had a custom sidebar coded for her SITE. You see it there mid page on the left sidebar. It's tabbed out to show recent post, your post, hot posts.

She wants that shown on the homepage (vBadvanced) HOW do I do this? The sidebar is comprised of some code in the forumhome template and a product the coder created.

Re: Adding custom sidebar to vBa module on homepage.

Well does vbadvanced not have templates?

How To Add A Left Or Right Column - vBulletin Community Forum

That code there would add it site wide..But I do not know about having to remove whatever is there...But I am sure they must have a module to add a collum

Add MORE columns to vBadvanced - vBadvanced Forums

maybe that?

Re: Adding custom sidebar to vBa module on homepage.

she doesn't want to add a sidebar, she just basically wants to replace the standard "recent threads" module that comes with vba with this sidebar....

see on her homepage HERE, that recent threads on the top left block. She wants her custom sidebar in place of that.

I took what looked like all the code and added it into a template module, added it, and it broke the whole homepage.

Boy, that's strange. Common sense says that it should work without 'breaking' the page.

Good luck my friend!
