Friends of mine sent me this hack/mod and it called alexarank. I am not sure where he get this hack from, probably from vbulletin.org? If this hack has been posted here before, then mod/admin, please delete this topic.

Its not a plugin anymore, but a product. It adds the "Scheduled Task" automatically and also adds a row for alexarank in Datastore table. This can be safely uninstalled. *Tested*.

Installation instruction can be found inside the zip file. I have installed this hack in my forum (forumsclub.net) and it work fine.

you said you've changed the code up some ?

Right. I should do some research at vb.org first before post it here. My apology for that. I am not the one who made changed the code, but the quote above is taken from the readme.txt file from the zip file.

yup, i seen the read me.
I'll remove the hack for now and we'll see if there is a link to it

I wonder why someone would want to take it from a # on a txt file, to the db ?
I try to keep things out of the dp
