I see a bunch of forums (this one included) with a forum for old "archived" threads. First of all, do you think that't be a good idea for my debate forum, seeing as there are a lot of debates that no one has responded to in a while? And if you think it is a good idea, how do you automatically archive posts that haven't been responded to in "X" number of days into a certain forum?

We move them manually.

Okay.

I was thinking maybe I should store old, finished debates in one forum. That way people will be more willing to start new threads. Because right now there are old threads for like affirmative action, and it might be making people hesitant to make a new topic for it. Something I'll think about.

Yea I'll probably do it. But I'm going to hold off for now, because there aren't that many threads on my forum as it is. I don't want to make my forums look empty, ya know?
