Article/Library Section like this...

Tutorials & How To's - vBulletin FAQ Forums (Article Index)
[How To] Reduce spam on your forum - vBulletin FAQ Forums (Article)

Is this view something something that's built into vbulletin or do I have to add a mod to create the article index and article layout? Are there any alternatives to something like this? Basically I want to have a tutorial sections with slightly photo intensive articles.

Thanks in advance.

AH Thank you, I knew I saw it some where back when...that's when vbgeek was out of service for a while I think..

Is there any other system like this you can recommend? I'm trying to add a different look then other forums. Otherwise I'll just purchase this. It looks pretty easy to install I think.

Re: Article/Library Section like this...

I just bought and installed GARS. Ouch $60+ bucks for the brand free option.

The graphic icons for "Post New Article" and "Comment" are nonexistent. Instead just the text shows. Did I do something wrong in the installation?

Second, how do I customize the modules so that instead of three columns I have all the smaller ones on the left, and then the article listings on the rest of the page?

Re: Article/Library Section like this...

the price has gone up since we bought it, but it's a solid script and many things can be done with it.

do you have a custom style ? I assume so, what you might check is in the gar's folder, if inside they have an images folder, open that up and upload those to the folder your style is in.

Re: Article/Library Section like this...

My articles are picture intensive. As a result, I try to align the images to the left and right of the text using bbcode float left/right.

I have a fluid style, so the position of where the text floats on the left and right will differ computer to computer. For example, it will look perfectly alright on one screen resolution with all images aligned left. But on another, some of the images become scattered in the right and center areas...

How can I fix this?

1) Can I make the article adhere to a fix layout inside my fluid style?
2) Should I make it a fix style? If no, what do you recommend as a solution to the pictures positioning differently as it currently is?

Thanks in advance guys and gals.
