Is that auto merge double post a vBSEO thing or is it available on the .org?
Thanks,

| Re: Automerge Double Post I noticed this feature on vB.org and couldn't find a new bug-free version (the one listed above was 3.6 compatible, but problems on it and no support).....anyone know of this hack/mod being out there and maybe I'm just not searching for it correctly? |

| Re: Automerge Double Post Oh, cool. I didn't know if it was working or not.
I might just have to try that. Wait, but I'd have to get rid of another hack to try it with my self-imposed limit on mods |

| Re: Automerge Double Post maybe I should add that too... I'm always accidentally doubleposting (at least on my own forums I can clean up my own messes!) |

| Re: Automerge Double Post Will this merge post from the time after the hack. Or does it merge all posts? One of my boards would go nutts if they lost post count. |

| Re: Automerge Double Post i would read thru the release, but i would guess that no, it does not affect posts retroactively. it also ha a setting i think so you can give a time limit to auto merge like
in dup is made in 1 hour or less merge, if over a hour leave as is |

| Re: Automerge Double Post Yeah that's right Caddyman.
You can set the time limit in the ACP settings. It won't affect posts already on the forum. Just if someone posts, then posts again after it, it merges the two posts and displays a wee message.
There's an example here... Dbox2 not booting up and unable to flash - Page 2
You can change the message if you want. |
