WHAT? Back when I had Flashchat... the install was really simple... and there was no key required for it.

Well i got it (Flasherize) up and running 100%, it is a nice chat room, how ever i went back to Flash Chat, i love the ability to send files, PM, and listen to MP3's and watch videos through Flash Chat.

Just sharing an experience.

A member of mine started a thread, "can we have a chat room".

After much support from others I installed flashchat integrated with Vb. Was working fine.

However then I noticed this member always in the chatroom but he rarely posted. I had my suspicions about the member for some time and discovered he was sitting in the chatroom recruiting for his own forum ... like 1 on 1 quizzing people and sending them to his forum.

This was available via the 24hour log files of chatroom discussion.

So I banned him, word banned the site he was refering to.

Then, only a few hours after that banning flashchat was hacked which also then hacked the forum a little.

I have uninstalled flashchat, fixed any Vb problems I think and uninstalled any mods relating to flashchat.

So, my word of warning is it's pretty common knowledge that chatrooms are easily hacked and if you have silent trolls they can undermine you. Frankly in hind site I wish I never did install it or the mods that went with it etc.

I spend a lot of time and some money on getting my forum to go places and posting keeping people happy and content good. I dont like the idea of some-one coming along and recruiting for their cause from your hard work.
