Re: BFE CoD - A CoD2 Campaign Style Tournament

My Recruiting Corps (Advertising Team) has hit up many major CoD2 Clan and community websites ;) using a few advertising drafts to get the attention of the average CoD2 player to join our tournament

It seems the best way to get new players in...

Hit the main vbulletin sites, try getting BoTM off vBulletin.org and maybe find a few "Powered by vBulletin" forums and try get in contact with their adminstrator... Just bug them if they need help, SEO tips or something they should come to these forums :P

But I think it'll be hard to get people to join since most vBulletin admins can just post on vbulletin.org or .com - I'm only here as vB is not registered under my name - the tournament owners MyIS bought the vB license and I keep bugging one of the guys to add my email to the vB members page thing but he's lazy

Maybe changing guest permissions so they can see thread titles/thread list but must register to see actual thread content might help... (but make sure you don't block off the forum bots!) :p

ya, thats sorta how I've found a few of my current clients, I'll pursue this more when after this month when I get the site how I want it.
