BFE CoD - A CoD2 Campaign Style Tournament

http://bfecod.com

We mainly play CoD2, but we do the odd CoD1 and CoDUO battles on Sundays

* Take part in campaign battles as Allies or Axis
* Participate in three 12 hour battles each week for ten weeks per campaign
* Play for as long or as little as you want
* Get the opportunity to win prizes while having fun
* Play utilizing stats, weapon limits, custom maps, and teamwork
* Make new friends from around the world

"BFE:CoD - 12 hours of getting shot at, shouted at, laughed at and cheered at, and that's just 1 battle."

----

Well enough of advertising about the tournament, how do you guys like the website?

I've added the red fade effect, about 4/5 extra choose-able skins, Inferno RSS Feed, Atakan RSS Feed View, and Rules hack (not finished updating atm)

Also added that forum mouse hover effect which uses Alt1/Alt2 colour switch on each thread view/sub forum view... and updated the mainpage with a "box" style hover effect thing...

Going to rename the "Talk Sport, Talk Books, Talk Music etc." sub-forums to something better but not sure what yet ...

Also working on getting forum images for each forum... and also going to try creating "curved" tables using images on the left and right sides of the tables...

All comments/improvements/tweaks are welcomed

Cheers

I Love the style

the forum icons seem a little out of place, I think you could find some that would match with the cod game a little better.
I really like the forum headers with the graduation that looks like rock or dirt,, I'm a bit envious :p
there are many other things I like but I'll let others point them out
Your off to a great start with the vb script

Re: BFE CoD - A CoD2 Campaign Style Tournament

Thanks. I didn't actually make the banners someone in the graphics team for the tournament did :p

I'll bug the graphics team to work on some better forum icons tho, do you mean the forum new post/locked post one? I know that the default statusicons could do with being upgraded to suit BFE too

Also do you know why it only shows 1 birthday on the forum home page when we have 3 people born on that same day :?

See:

Thanks

Hmm they all have "View Birthdays" set to Yes, I've just changed the "Active Birthdays" option under vBulletin tab so I'll see if that works (since the 2 other people with birthdays may not be "active") :P

Cheers tho

Re: BFE CoD - A CoD2 Campaign Style Tournament

yay! 72 new registered users in the past 24 hours - that is currently our most ever new users to signup in a day

We normally get at least 20-30 new users when the campaign opens but a huge 72 so far and campaign signups have only been open for about 3 hours

76 now

Also one more thing you might be able to help me out with:

http://www.bfecod.com/showgroups.php

How would I remove "Moderators" - it's basically the default one and it finds all the users in all usergroups who can moderator one or more forums... basically I want to remove that part...

Would I need to edit the /showgroups.php or is it hidden away somewhere in the templates or as a phrase that can easily be edited?

Cheers
