The "free" vBulletin? I don't think one exists?

You might have to be more specific, but when you upload vB to the directory you want it in, you're gonna wanna point to the install file in your broswer and all that fun stuff.

This should help you out with anything regarding the installation and setup of your vB forum

Yea there one Call Vbulletion CMPS

vBadvanced CMPS (Content Management & Portal System) is an advanced portal / CMS that allows you to easily include elements from your vBulletin message board on your web site's homepage, or other pages. It's module system (w/ 14 default modules included) makes almost every aspect of the software easy to customize and change through your Admin CP. Easily create and manage new pages with your own custom content with the ability to change every setting on a per-page basis. Integrating CMPS modules with your vBulletin forum pages can also be done with no file modifications required.

Alright, maybe I'm misunderstanding you but...

Do you have vBulletin itself installed on your site yet?

vBadvanced Content Management system is an add-on (you have to already have vBulletin installed) that creates basically a portal and other pages to your site based around your vBulletin forum.

They don't give you a vBulletin license, you have to buy one of those from vBulletin.com

Hope that clears it up for you if I understand what you're saying right.

Re: Can a FTP/Mysql Web Hosting Upload Vbulletion

vBadvanced will not work at all without buying vBulletin first.

vBadvanced is an addon to vBulletin.

Think of it like this:
Say you buy a game for Xbox 360 like Madden 08. Theres no point in getting the game if you don't have the actual Xbox 360 Console in your possession as well. vBadvanced is Madden, and the 360 is vBulletin

If you want to use vBulletin and vBadvanced on your new webhost, you're gonna have to go here: https://www.vbulletin.com/order/ and buy it

No problem.

If the price is too steep you can always start out with a free forum, gather funds and then transfer over to vBulletin later.

I suggest using smf if you can't afford vBulletin.

Or MyBB. It's really similar to vBulletin. And you should meet the requirements for vBulletin. If in the future you need help with the installation, me or any of the other members will be more than happy to help.
