Complete Newb Question - Homepage

Ok guys, forgive my ignorance...

I just started theaccordionforum.com. I have a lame index page. I made it in like ten minutes with frontpage and it doesn't work well.

I would like to have a homepage like the one at this site. vBulletin Setup Forums. Where do I start?
