Convert vBGallery to vB Albums?

So has anybody come across an import script to go from PP vBGallery to vB's Albums? I have several sites and running vBGallery on them is an overkill (some of you likely know how/why I ended up with several vBGallery licenses over the years

) so I'm looking at switching them over to the stock albums to make life easier on those sites.

as far as I know Kevin, there's not an import script. Jerry was asked about that at .com.

For the smaller sites, I may just end saying "Heck with it." and wiping out the galleries and start fresh with the albums. No time these days for me to write a converter myself so I was hoping that somebody out there had already gone down that path.

I've seen this asked before and really don't know why they wouldn't make this. You would think they would want people to use them...

Most likely the reason that an import was never made, is because the vB albums are not, and were never meant to be, a gallery replacement.

They are personal profile albums. Nothing more. They don't have all the bells 'n' whistles of the galleries and never will, unless the powers-that-be decide to make them more than they are.
