Never had this before!

Was trying to change the words under my name on my own forum and it wont let me.

Came up with this.

Never used to do that until the 3.6.8 upgrade, so how do I fix it etc so I can write what I damn well want?

your user ID has been added to that line in the config file

You can go in and edit it out.. it will look like "1" (1 = w/e your userID is)

just remove your number, make it ""

and no, this was the wrong spot.. Moving to vBulletin quetions ;)

Hmmm, did it.

Made the changes then put it back, must have had it disabled on old settings, bit risky to do that maybe.

I did try to edit my post and got booted like that other thread/post.

you have to remove the number from the config file and keep it out if you want to edit your profile..
That's just an extra security feature vB has.
Make sure you are removing Your user ID

You can find it by looking at your profile..
I'd look it up, but you haven't added a link to your site in your sig yet
