Couple of my members have recently complained that on couple of occasions when they clicked on post the post just disappeared instead of getting posted on forum but I have a feeling there might be more instances when this has happened.

There is nothing in the server logs to indicate any problem like this and the forum is on a VPS which is not really under any major load and the forum runs pretty smoothly.

Any thing I need to watch out for look at to ensure this doesn’t happen in future?

Ps. I am running 3.6.10

maybe rebuild thread info in acp>maintenance>

i had a issue where if a post got pushed to "the next page" that next page would be locked out so if you are on page 18 and it went to 19, you could click 19 and it would stick on 18. very strange, rebuild thread info fixed it....

did you check to see if they are in moderation maybE?

Nope, only one forum is moderated and that too only threads.

Maybe the thread is being deleted or moved by a mod when users are posting?

Nothing like that and no errors either. Its like user clicked on post quick reply and reply never got posted!

and i guess you are not getting any security token errors or anything. I would reupload all your non image files in ASCII mode and see if that helps, might have been a bug or a error in uploading a file...
