Re: Does anyone know the 'post count' contest hack?

I don't think he's going to keep working on it.

I just wanted to use the referral feature. vBulletin already lets you track member's referrals for a given period of time, but you can't set a minimum post count like you can with Easy Contest. In other words, it counts referrals even if the member makes 0 posts. With Easy Contest, you can make it so it only counts referrals with at least 5 posts, or something similar.

yeah the only thing i think you can do now is track it manually, which can get quite time consuming.

I'd like a way to track referrals and post counts (in certain forums) for future contests. So, I'm waiting for something that works.

isn't there a mod called vbExperience (or something like that) that tracks all kinds of user activity like uploading attachments and tagging posts? Maybe that would be a good one to run a contest with.

yes vbexperience but i dont think it will give you a report of specific points spreads, just a overall view of activity.

If it's monitoring it for the users then surely it would be easy to add a function to rank them... at least, that's what I think.
