OK! You will have to take me slooooooow through this!
I can see the red X’s but how do I delete them and upload them?
Where do I upload them from?
Are they hidden from me in my forum, (but still there somewhere) or do I have to upload from some external source?

....I can get here, but what next?

Lampwick:coolgleamA:

chmod (right-mouse menu)

The chmod (UNIX) command appears only when one or more files or folders are selected in the Remote System list. When you select chmod, you see a dialog box where you can specify the most common UNIX file attributes.

· Note: You must have write permission on the FTP site and the site must support the "SITE chmod" command. This is normally valid only on UNIX-based systems. The selected items do not reflect the current permissions of the file.

I havent got a clue what all that lot means.....please help me!

Re: Drag and drop pictures in “Go Advanced”

I believe you have to upload the smilely folder from the vb installation into your FTP site where there forum and smiles are installed. The folder is something like forum/images.... Drag and drop the folder of images from your computer into the same spot as on your ftp. It doesn't seem like the images of the icons got uploaded the first go around. OR use the smiley upload manager in the admincp, should be one of the options on the left column

Re: Drag and drop pictures in “Go Advanced”

As Luigi said
seems the upload of the smiles went wrong. Look on your local computer where you have the directory and re upload them, those red crosses are IE telling you there is nothing to show, dead link.
