"Forum contains no new posts", etc icon

Hello

I just purchased the vBulletin license last night, and have been (miraculously) able to muddle along for the most part in getting it set up. One thing I cannot seem to find is the place where I can change the "forum contains no new posts" "forum contains new posts" icons to graphics of my own choosing. Could someone here point me in the right direction? Thank you!

This will depend on the skin you're using, but more likely than not, these icons will be in the /statusicon/ folder

For the default vB template, it would be:

http://yourdomain.com/forum/images/statusicon/

There are a few different images you'll want to change - new posts, no posts, locked forum, linked forum, etc.

Thanks for the reply!

I am hopelessly lost. I'm in the Style Manager> StyleVars where it shows sizes and dimensions as well as image paths. I see this:

Quote:
Icon Status Folder: images/statusicon
Where it says "images/statusicon" , obviously that's some sort of a file path. But it's not like there are any individual icon file paths that I can just switch out with something else. I can't see any graphics at all --just the one file path. I'm wondering if this involves some sort of coding that is beyond my skill level? Or am I just missing something?

These are actual images uploaded to your server. You need to change them using an FTP program or some control panel file manager - whatever you used to upload all of the vBulletin files to your website, you should be able to use to replace these images as well.
