I've setup a downloads section on my forum but i want to set it so only members with a certain amount of posts can use that section,how do i go about doing that?

I think you'll need Cyb's forum permissions hack, we had it here during the early days of vbsetup, I'm not sure if you can set it for specific forums though.

I thought this sort of thing would already be installed with Vbulletin quite suprised it isn't.Doesn't boards like Ipb already have it installed.

I actually have a seperate usergroup. Once they get a specified number of posts the user then gets "promoted" to another rank. That Rank/Usergroup has the permissions to download and or pm.
