It does conflict because my forum icons are not showing either after using forums arranged in columns. I wonder if their is a way to get the icons to show aswell.

I'm sure there is.. I don't see why they wouldn't show..

It's something I plan to work on here, just haven't had time yet.

Re: Forums arranged in columns on forumhome

Hi guys,

I was wondering if I could possibly pick your brains here and get some help regarding the two hacks mentioned here:

Forums in columns on forumhome and category icons.

As mentioned, I solved all the problems regarding these two long ago, and they are working great, however as with anything I would like to improve on this.

Currently the columns look like what this site has.

Example:

-----------------------------------------------------
--------- Forum name
Image
--------- Description
-----------------------------------------------------
I would like to change that to:

-----------------------------------------------------
Forum name
Image
Description
-----------------------------------------------------

I have seen it done as per examples on vb.org, but asking there and reading through all the posts (trust me I have read them all 3-4 times now) comes up with nothing.

I would also like to add last post and thread info (which I have added now, but it was a quick and dirty hack which is hardcoded)

I would also like to add:

1- Make the custom statusicons clickable (to mark forums read as per 3.6.x default ones)

2- Sub forums if possible (although I hear it's not?)

These last two are simply bonuses, but I really would love some help on the positioning request I have.

Thanks.
