Help with RSS Feed

I finally setup a RSS feed, and I am only getting 2 or 3 lines for a description, and then it will just go to read the full story link type of deal. I don't want that... I want the whole article to be posted. I posted this on vb.com... but they are slow as shyt, and I am sure you great guys can answer this pretty easy. Thanks in advance, because I know y'all got this =)

Re: Help with RSS Feed

usually you do this with the rss url, mostly the feed generator sends all but the reador doesn't show all

try adding &full=true to the end of the url of your feed, if it already has other parameters. Else it'll be ?full=true

Re: Help with RSS Feed

It really depends on the feed itself. Some publishers only publish a summary in an effort to drive traffic to their sites. If the site only publishes a snippet or summary, there is nothing you can do other than copy/pasting the article.

Here is a decent resource for RSS tags: RSS 2.0 Specification (RSS 2.0 at Harvard Law)

Re: Help with RSS Feed

Well I am trying to get a sports feed up. But ESPN, Yahoo, MSN, Google, and Sports Illustrated, only show a few lines... I've tried many other sites, and viewed their source, and they jus have a few lines in the description. But I will try the &full=true, and leave some feedback if it worked or not.

Didn't help, tried 10 other sites also... Just get a summary pretty much.

Re: Help with RSS Feed

Sometimes you have to dig pretty low on the google page looking for RSS feeds. I'd search for blogs that are posting sports news. Blogs will usually give a few more lines out Vs. the CMS type news portals.
