Help w/ Paid Subscriptions

Well I decided to give the whole paid subscriptions thing a go, and I configured everything the way i wanted it. Then i attempted to test it out, by logging out of my administrator account and into a test account, and first off, i couldnt find any link to the paid subscriptions anywhere, so i had to type in /payments.php after my url.... which isnt too cool. Ideally i would want it in the default navbar just like memberlist, FAQ, ect. So thats numero uno question.

My second question is, when i go to /payments.php, it says: "MY FORUM does not have any paid subscriptions available to which you can subscribe." Im not sure how to overcome this, but please help.

Any help with these two things would be greatly appreciated, and i know that these are just two very simple problems, that can be solved easily by one of you experienced vbulletiners.

Thanks!

You'll have to edit the navbar template and add this in manually

Sounds as if you haven't set the subscription permission. Make sure your usergroups are allowed to access the subscriptions.

Hope this helps ;)

Re: Help w/ Paid Subscriptions

ok well i figured out my second question, i just had to enter in MY paypal info on a certain setting.

But i still need some help with the link. How would i get it up there? I would either want it up there like all the other ones, or in the "quick links" dropdown. Can you explain how i would do this? Thanks!

Re: Help w/ Paid Subscriptions

Sure, you need to go to

Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> On the drop down of your style press edit templates -> navbar

Find:
Code:
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php" accesskey="5"></a></td>
Add after:
Code:
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="payments.php">Payments</a></td>
That will get the link next to your FAQ link. To get it in your quicklinks, find:

Code:
<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="forumdisplay.php?do=markread"></a></td></tr>
and add after:

Code:
<tr><td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="payments.php">Payments</a></td></tr>
Hope this helps
