How to add links to Welcome Email and PMs? How do you add links to the welcome email and PM? For example, I want to say something like "Start off by saying  in our Introduction Section" With the intro section linked appropriately. Thanks in advance, -Luigi Quote |

Re: How to add links to Welcome Email and PMs? For welcome pm you need to use bbcode to do formatting, not sure if links with anchor text can be added to welcome email, since it is sent in a text format.

Re: How to add links to Welcome Email and PMs? I think you can use html in the phrase manager for the welcome email Some browsers will display it, some won, but they should still get the linking code. I'm not sure as i haven't ever edited the welcome email phrase yet

Re: How to add links to Welcome Email and PMs? Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Registration Options 'Send Welcome Email' and 'Welcome Private Message' sections, click on 'PM Body' and Email Body' and you can edit the message. Pasting in a link does work.  Quote |
