I was in the process of buying a vb license from another person.
In the 11th hour this sob sold it out from under me and gave me less than 48 hours to move.

I converted to phpbb (i know I know) and have NOT been using the vb software at all.

The thing is I am now getting harassed by this guy saying I am pirating the software.

This is just NOT true.

Being new to website ownership I have no idea how to get rid of it and get this a'hole off my back.
I also do NOT want any trouble with the heads of vb.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well first off, if he gave you his vBulletin files for use, email jelsoft so they can revoke his license as its against the TOS.

To remove vBulletin simply remove all the vBulletin related files you uploaded to the server and thats all there is to it.

Well you need to login to your site via FTP and then remove any files that don't belong to phpBB if thats what you are currently using.

What is the your site URL and where did you install vBulletin on the site (it http://sitename.com/vbulletin)
