How to disable quote button?

I have certain sections that's gonna have streaming video, and other sections that are for downloads only. I have no need for a quote feature in those forums, but noobs will come in and quote video, and run up bandwidth. So I would like to disable it totally for those particular sections.

I thought it would be in forums/moderators in the acp but I didn't see any options for the quote feature. Any suggestions?

Re: How to disable quote button?

you can't do just certain forum on this

maybe you can make a hack request at vb.org, but you can turn off quotes for the whole site in user groups or vboptions

Wow. Had no idea...That sucks. So lets just say I want to turn it off for a specific user group, is that possible? If so, that will be good enough for now...And yeah I'll also try and make a request... Thanks.

Re: How to disable quote button?

Well you can disable the quote per usergroup, yes.

Go to edit the usergroup and find:

Code:
Allow Quote BBCode
change that
