How to display xml feeds on a static html page?

I am currently using Javascript to display latest topics on my static html page, does any one knows how to go about using xml feeds in the similar manner?

If you want client side pulls, you need JS to pull from and parse an XML source.

Can't this be done with php? Because I would hate to use Javascript, because I am already using it and it wouldn't make sense to use it again.

Yes, you just need to set .htaccess to parse php in .html files. In fact on php5, pulling xml is super simple.

You pull the xml and the data is packaged nicely for use.

It's likely a short script.

Uhmm...I am looking for similar guide as well. Is this code correct to put in .htaccess?
Code:
RemoveHandler .html .htm
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html
Thanks.

That is what I use. But without the remove part.

Code:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .htm .html
I dunno about the other part, never encountered it.
